Mark grew up outside of Bel Air MD, as the youngest of seven children. He attended the University of Maryland at College Park where he studied Mathematics. He lives in Boyds, MD with his wife Debbie and two children, Nicole and Matthew. Mark started his career in financial services in 1994; obtained the designation as Certified Financial Planner®; passed the series 7, 65, 63 and 6 securities exams; keeps current with tax and financial service changes through seminars and continuing education; and maintains life and health insurance licensure.

As an Investment Advisor and CFP® , Mark Monninger helps clients plan for their financial future. Mark’s key to developing a successful financial plan is to integrate a client’s current tax and financial situation with their long-term financial goals. Mark can then ensure clients take full advantage of current tax deductions and plan for their future. Mark believes most of our clients have similar goals: retirement planning, saving for education, or leaving an estate for children or grandchildren. With a clear understanding of your current tax situation, he is better able to recommend solutions to accomplish these goals.

While most of his free time is spent coaching and supporting his children in baseball, basketball, and swimming, he also enjoys playing golf and biking.
